About

Pocket Lane started as a group chat where three friends kept sending each other screenshots of games they liked. At some point the list got too long to keep in messages, so we turned it into a site. Nothing corporate about it — just people who love the moment a race clicks and you finally nail that last corner.

We focus on racing, arcade, and everything fast and easy to pick up on a phone. But we don't stop there: if a strategy or an RPG grabs us during a lunch break, it goes in the catalog too. The point is games you can actually enjoy on a small screen, standing on a train or lying on the couch.

How we choose what to cover is simple. Someone spots a game, we all install it, and we play for at least a few evenings before writing a word. If it bores us in ten minutes, it doesn't make the cut. If we keep opening it without thinking, that's a good sign.

We write the way we talk — a bit rough around the edges, honest about what annoyed us, generous when something surprises us. No paid placements, no rankings for sale. Just our own hours spent tapping the screen.

Lukas Berger — Lukas has been playing racing games since he could barely hold a controller and now spends most of his commute testing new ones. He handles the bulk of the driving reviews on the site.
